A Milanese renovation rooted in rhythm, nature, and everyday intimacy. Set inside a traditional casa di ringhiera, this project reimagines a multi-room Milanese home for a creative professional and her family. The design honors the layered charm of the original structure while bringing in warmth, clarity, and a highly personalized material palette. Each room was designed around real habits: a cozy corner for reading, an open kitchen for shared meals, a storage-ready zone for hiking gear, and a living space that welcomes both quiet evenings and conversation. The layout balances function with atmosphere, giving each zone its own material rhythm. Finishes include lime-based natural paints, handcrafted terracotta, smoked oak parquet, and textured wallpapers, chosen for their tactility and quiet expressiveness. Earthy tones, botanical references, and curated surfaces create a space that feels both contemporary and rooted. This home doesn’t chase trends. It reflects a life layered, creative, and calm.
